In a landmark verdict, a UP POCSO court sentenced suspended junior engineer Rambhawan and his wife Durgawati to death for sexually abusing 33 boys, some as young as three. The couple lured children using gifts and online video games between 2010-2020 in Banda and Chitrakoot. The court termed the crimes “rarest of rare” and ordered ₹10 lakh compensation for each victim.
